Muhammad Nasir Khalily, Director General of BISP Punjab, revealed that about 4.7 million worthy families in Punjab are receiving financial aid through the Benazir Income Support Programme’s (BISP) Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) programme.
The Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety made this declaration while visiting the BISP Central Zonal Office in Lahore on a high-level visit.
Positive Outcomes Of BISP Initiatives

The briefing focused on the benefits of Benazir Taleemi Wazaif, the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program, which has contributed to higher rates of school enrollment and retention.
The program has effectively enrolled 8.2 million children in Punjab since its start, guaranteeing impoverished areas’ ongoing access to education.
Vulnerable Women Get Nutritional Benefits Via Nashonuma Program

The Minister also emphasized the importance of the Benazir Hunarmand Program and praised the BISP Punjab team’s efforts in providing vital services to families in the province that are at risk.
